The Mother of All Roller Coasters

Darren Hardy calls it “The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster” – but the truth is – it’s the mother of all.

I coach this stuff for a living.  Have faith.  Don’t panic.  You’re doing the right activity.  Don’t lose focus.  Keep your eye on the prize. Yes, I’ve tried that.  Yes, I’m working on that.  Thanks, so glad you could spare your opinion on my projects here.

The perks of business ownership.  People tell you how they’d run your company for free.

No, being a business coach myself, doesn’t exclude me from this dialog.  I’m not exactly sure why that is.  A series of study for another day.

Here’s the catch – this is not the time to hide from your tribe.  That support system you’ve got in place is meant for these specific moments.  They’re what buffer your spirit from the constant pulls of opinion and information that tease you into manic failure or lull you into a false sense of security about your success.

Give them your vulnerability.  Set your burden down with these people so that you may find rest and recovery.  They’ll also be your advisers.  They’ll be the committees.   They don’t have to be formal to be valuable.  Many a brilliant decision has been forged at the alter of the kitchen table.
